Full Circle Farms beef is fed and finished on grass only. Unlike some other “grass-fed beef” brands, FCF's cattle are never placed in feed lots and finished on grain to produce rapid weight gain before market. Grass is the natural feed for cattle, not grain. Grain is difficult for cattle to digest and can often require the use of antibiotics. The introduction of any amount of grain to the diet of cattle can diminish the quality of the beef, reducing both health benefits and the real beef flavor.

Is Our Beef Organic?
A lot of organic beef on the market is grain-fed, which most often means they wind up in feed lots. Even if the grain is organic, it still compromises the health of the cattle and the quality of the beef. Raising healthy cattle in a natural setting on a lifetime of grass is more important to us than being considered organic. And also in order to be organic the USDA requires that you cannot give your Cattle any type of antibiotics if they happen to fall ill, although it will be completely out of their system within 45 days , we have a 1% illness rate and we would never put the cow on the market until it is out of their system ,
